QDEVU® Industrial Wastewater Treatement Electrocoagulation Plant

Electrocoagulation(EC) or Electrical Flocculation technology is a sewage treatment method that breaks the stable state of suspended solids, emulsified or dissolved pollutants in water by introducing direct current into the water.  Compared with traditional chemical flocculation, electrical flocculation is an efficient and environmentally friendly water treatment technology without adding chemical or adding a small amount of flocculant, with low operation and maintenance cost, stable treatment effect and no secondary pollution of water quality and sediment.

QDEVU Electrocoagulation System is a combination of Electrolysis, Flocculation and Air Flotation, which can remove COD, BOD, suspended solids, grease, turbidity, chromaticity, heavy metal ions, calcium and magnesium ions, etc. in wastewater, and improve the B/C value of biochemical treatment.When the wastewater is treated by electrolytic flocculation, it can not only coagulate and precipitate colloidal impurities and suspended impurities, but also remove a variety of pollutants in the water due to the oxidation of the anode and the reduction of the cathode.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Electrochemical reaction: Fe→Fe2++2e.

Anodizing reaction: 2OH-→2[O]+2e→02+2e, The nascent oxygen [O] has the same strong oxidation function as UV, H2O2 and O3.

Cathode reduction: 2H++2e→2[H]→H2, nascent hydrogen can break bonds, COD, chromophore functional groups and multi-chain health.

The above oxidation and reduction functions occur continuously on the plates.

• Energy saving: Fe(OH)2 and Fe(OH)3 are excellent coagulants. No need polymer is a major feature of this equipment. H and OH are also produced by the natural dissociation of water. There is no need for dynamic aeration to generate agglomerated organic and inorganic substances, SS, which occurs continuously in the vicinity of the plates, and the high SS can be smoothly removed.
